Fort William in Autumn and Winter

Visit the West Highlands out of season!

The West Highlands are beautiful in the autumn and winter seasons - if you haven't visited the area at this time of year why not consider it?

The autumn colours are stunning by mid October, there are less people around so that you can enjoy travelling on quieter roads, and the weather is usually fine.

By November there is frequently snow on the hills, and the ski-ing season begins around now. The lovely photograph on the right shows the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge, taken on a crisp winter's day.

We hope to welcome you this year!
